Dales presented with ‘Services to Bowls Award’
Dales Sports Surfaces Ltd received the “Services to Bowls Award” from World Bowls Tour Ltd at the 2010 Awards Ceremony held at Potters on Saturday 8th January 2011.
“This is a proud moment for the Company and our Employees and is an honour and privilege to be recognised by the World Bowls Tour with this award” said Richard Steadman – M.D.
It is 13 years since Dales first provided the T.V Portable Rink negotiated by the Company’s late principal Mr. Dickie Dales. The award was received and is dedicated to Dickie’s honour and memory.

2010 Commonwealth Games in India
England achieved great success in Delhi on the Dales Mastergreen World Bowls approved surfaces. It may have been due to the pre-event practice at Chess Vale B.C another Mastergreen surface where Jersey also practiced. Our Congratulations go to all the team, with special Congratulations to Ellen Falkner and Amy Monkhouse who won Gold in women's lawn bowls pairs, pictured left. The team was supplied with Comfitpro Bowls Bags by Dales subsidiary company Verdemat Bowls Ltd, Ellen Falkner is the official representative for Comfitpro Bowls Shoes, Bags and Accessories.
IBC North Shields
The Parks IBC North Shields have just had installed a new Dales Plastic inter locking tile system so that they utilise the building through the summer months for many uses including exhibitions, election campaign and vote counting, examination hall, seminars, conferences etc and many other uses.
Dales offer a purchase or rental scheme. It took 2 days to install the 8 rink cover.
